Justin Verlander has agreed to an $180 million contract, the richest deal for a pitcher in baseball history.

I guess Detroit never would have won the MLB 12 World Series without him. Always a great, clutch playoff pitcher. Surprised Posey got so much after blowing series with game ending double play. That will probably work out to 1 million per start for such a stellar post season pitcher. Will Detroit fans be able to afford tickets?

Tigers got to be really careful with Verlander over the next couple weeks. Gotta have him at full strength when it matters.

6-4 his last 10 with a injury or is it called; who gives a shoot about the New-Stars game not All-Star game. At least one other player will call in sick b4 Tuesday with a virus :ohno:

Verlander left Sunday's game after the sixth inning with minor quad soreness. He is questionable for Tuesday's All-Star game.
